Product Details Overview: The DST milli-TD is a reliable temperature and depth archival tag, designed for long-term behavior and migration studies of fish and marine animals. It features a long battery life and large memory, capable of storing up to 1.4 million measurements at user-defined intervals, as fast as every second. Memory and battery life can last for 2.5 years if sampling at a 2-minute interval. The tag measures 39.4 mm x 13 mm and weighs 13 grams. It can record with multiple intervals, shifting between different intervals during the measuring period. Application: Designed as an economical fish archival tag for migration and dive behavioral studies of fish and marine animals over a long period. The tag can be implanted or attached externally and can also be used as a standalone temperature depth logger in various situations. Depth Sensors: Calibrated up to 800 meters. Customers can choose between depth calibration up to: 50 m, 100 m, 250 m, 500 m, or 800 m. Shallower ranges offer better resolution and accuracy. Attachment: Designed for implantation in the abdominal cavity or external attachment using a tag holder kit for easier and safer attachment. Customized Housing: Tags can have customized text for recapture purposes, important for commercially fished species. Spaghetti Tag: Optionally, a yellow plastic tube (spaghetti tag) can be attached for easier spotting of tagged fish. Using the Logger Simple setup and data retrieval, supported by SeaStar software and a Communication Box (purchased separately). Programming via Communication Box and SeaStar software, allowing user to set start time, date, and sampling interval. Supports single or multiple intervals (up to 7 different intervals). Software calculates memory fill and battery consumption based on interval settings. After recapture, data is uploaded to the software, displayed in graphic and tabular form, and can be exported.
