What is magnetotherapy
Magnetotherapy is a form of physiotherapy that uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate the regeneration of biologic tissues. It is a physical therapy based on low-frequency and low-intensity Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMFs). It avails itself of the action of a magnetic field generated by the electric current that goes through a coil (solenoid). The solenoid is composed of a metal conductor wrapped in a series of coils. The direction of the current determines a polarity, so each coil will have a North and a South pole.
